Aluca
The company
ALUCA GmbH, based in Rosengarten, Baden-Württemberg, is a long-established manufacturer of vehicle equipment in the premium segment. The company's unique selling point is its almost exclusive use of aluminum.
The project
As ALUCA's Dutch parent company wanted to refocus on its core business, it commissioned WESTFALENFINANZ to sell the company. The top priority was to conduct the process as confidentially and smoothly as possible, as the target company was in the midst of a profound transformation process.
The process
The sale process was supervised on behalf of WESTFALENFINANZ by Mr. Bolz and Mr. Meschede. The project team was supplemented by two employees of the Dutch shareholder and the management of ALUCA.
After approaching internationally oriented buyers and holding a number of promising management meetings, the strategically oriented private equity investor Operando Partners ultimately emerged as the ideal buyer. The process also enabled local management to acquire a stake in the company.
