Company valuation
Scientifically based or indicative—the choice is yours!

Company purchase prices and, consequently, the actual value of the company are always individual and depend on various factors. This is particularly true for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as most valuation methods and standards are tailored to large companies or companies traded on the capital market. However, the documents required for valuation, such as a multi-year forecast and a meaningful business plan, are typically not available in smaller companies. We bridge this gap with a future forecast integrated into the valuation, which we prepare together with the entrepreneur. We adjust the annual financial statements of SMEs, which are usually tax-optimized, so that only the actual operating result, which is often higher than the tax result, is valued.

Company valuation according to IDW S1

In cooperation with the German Institute for Business Succession (Deutsches Institut für Unternehmensnachfolge e.V.), we offer business valuations in accordance with IDW S1. You will receive a comprehensive report that explains the theoretical background of the various valuation approaches and applies them to the specific situation of your company. This derivation of the company value complies with the official valuation standard thanks to the pluralism of methods applied and can therefore also be used as a basis for all types of share transfers (including as an expert opinion for the tax authorities).
